Aiding Children Together, Inc.
Lisa Kohomban is the President and Executive Director of Aiding Children Together, Inc. In the days following the Asian Tsunami of December 2004, Lisa led efforts of the Smyrna Church Tsunami Relief Fund to support tsunami relief and recovery efforts of contacts in Sri Lanka. Inspired by the success of these efforts and the commitment of supporters, Lisa founded A.C.T. - Aiding Children Together, Inc. in 2008. Lisa holds a Masters Degree in Psychology. She has worked as a caseworker for the Department of Social Services, trainer for non-profits, and project coordinator for domestic violence programs serving teens and immigrants. Lisa lives in Pawling, N.Y. with her husband and fellow ACT board member Jeremy Kohomban. She cares for their three children while volunteering her services as Executive Director of ACT.
Jeremy Kohomban is the Vice President and Treasurer of A.C.T. - Aiding Children Together, Inc. A Sri Lankan himself, Jeremy's contacts in Sri Lanka enabled ACT to establish relationships with trusted partners. Jeremy is the President and CEO of The Children's Village in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. He holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership and serves on the boards of numerous organizations.
Jacqueline Green is the Secretary of the Board of
A.C.T. - Aiding Children Together, Inc. Jacqueline was a founding member of the Smyrna Church Tsunami Relief Fund, and was instrumental in efforts to incorporate ACT. Jacqueline most recently served as Project Manager for the Department of Social Services. She and her son live in Pawling, N.Y.
ACT board member Sumana Rangachar is an attorney who has worked as an Assistant District Attorney and legal advocate for the elderly. She currently works as a financial services professional for New York Life and lives in Montclair, N.J. with her husband and their three children.
